Challenge
Since 1986, SBR Technologies, Inc. (SBRT) has had a long-term relationship with with a large agricultural product manufacturer. During that time, SBRT has helped the company in the successful implementation of multiple Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) treatments of wastestreams for several pesticide production units.

SBRT continues to provide expert assistance in all aspects of the project including review of bench and pilot scale test data, review of full scale design, development of system startup and operating strategies, and evaluation of full scale system performance.
Benefits Achieved
With ongoing direction from SBR Technologies, Inc., the full scale, 1.2 MGD powdered-activated-carbon (PAC) SBR treatment system has been able to meet or exceed existing NPDES limits for effluent quality and toxicity reduction.
